This policy explains what information Quilt Designer (operated by Digital Family Insights) collects and how it's used.
Design Data Stays on Your Device
Your quilt designs — pattern choices, colors, grid size, sashing, borders — are stored locally in your own browser (using browser storage, not a server). We do not receive or store copies of your saved designs.
Payment Information
Payments for Quilt Designer Pro and AI preview credit bundles are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number. Stripe may collect your email address to send a payment receipt; this is handled under Stripe's own privacy policy, available at stripe.com/privacy.
Fabric Photos and AI Previews
If you upload a photo of your fabric, or generate an AI room preview, that image is sent to a third-party AI image generation service in order to process your request. We do not retain copies of uploaded photos or generated previews on our own servers beyond what's needed to deliver the feature to you in the moment.
Please only upload photos you have the right to use.
What We Don't Collect
We don't require account creation, and we don't collect names, addresses, or other personal details beyond what Stripe handles for payment processing.
Cookies and Local Storage
Quilt Designer uses your browser's local storage to remember things like your Pro unlock status and saved designs on that device. This is not the same as tracking cookies used for advertising — we don't use Quilt Designer to serve ads or track you across other websites.
Analytics
We do not currently use any analytics or tracking tools.
Children's Privacy
Quilt Designer is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy occasionally. The "last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent revision.
